A book that I have in Library Thing is Billy Boyle: a World War II mystery. One that was recommended is Royal murder by Elliott Roosevelt. They are both historical.
Library Thing is fairly easy to use. I find it easy to enter books. It is a little harder with dvds since they don't, or I don't have ISBNs.
I love the recommendations (for the most part). Some are a little off. I don't necessarily want to read about the history of Norway because the book was set in Norway. And the book on organizing had a recommendation for soap making. That's more than I want to do. However, there were other items recommended that I would be interested in. Under groups I found a historical fiction one with worthwhile recommendations. You can do a number of fun things with Library Thing.

I've opened a Facebook account. It was easy until I decided to add my maiden name. I had fun searching for my children on Facebook. I know they are there. Interesting to see some of their friends - kids I remember and one foreign exchange student that we hosted. I searched for some of my college friends - not there. I see the attraction.

For the week dealing with wikis, I found it was fun to search and interesting to read information about Racine County communities. As long as I clicked on Racine under the external link, I could get to our library website.
The library could use a wiki to coordinate a project. Each member of a team could enter their information.
